Marry Beauty To Truth And Awaken The Wonder

There is a growing, a stirring, a trembling of His children's creativity in this time.

The sound, the rhythm of thousands of feet rumbling in the distance.

A roar from heaven, an invitation for us to step into the full creativity the Creator Himself knitted into our beings. Made in His image, the Creator of heaven and earth has loaded you with divine creativity. You may not see yourself as a singer, a musician, an artist, a poet, a film-maker, a writer, a gardener, a dancer, a designer, an architect, a woodworker but with every fibre in my being I know you are creative.

Why? Because you were made by the Greatest Creator.

In this time Holy Spirit is stirring and breathing new life, new inspiration on His children for the 'new songs' to sound forth.

Oh the trumpets of heaven are calling for the Tehillah praise of His people to resound. The spontaneous praise, the new song, the 'in the moment, inspired by Him' song, the 'risky follow Holy Spirit lead' song. The testimony 'this is what He has done for me' song. The praise He inhabits, the praise He powerfully moves through and the type of praise that was used in key moments in scripture for connection, victory and evangelism:

Connection: Psalm 100:4 - Enter His gates with thanksgiving, His courts with praise (tehillah praise)

Victory: 2 Chronicles 20:22 - And when they began to sing and to praise (Tehillah praise), the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

Salvation: Psalm 40:3 - He has put a new song in my mouth, Praise (tehillah praise) to our God; Many will see it and fear,And will trust in the Lord.

Oh Psalm 40! Woooooohoooooooo

If you feel like you are at the end of things, in the dark, in the pit, stuck in the mud, waiting for God, there is some deeply profound good news.

He always answers, always saves and as He does, He puts a new song in our mouths through which the Word says many will see, fear and put their trust in the Lord.

Take heart! This is an offence to the enemy. Whatever reason you find yourself down there, He will turn it around and through your new song see souls won by Him. When the enemy thinks your pinned in the dark, God says 'just watch we are going to do with this.' Your new songs is a Holy Spirit directed, evangelistic arrow of truth and beauty pointing to the creator and captivating hearts. A signpost and a sharp point of truth.

It's time to pick up courage, pick up the pen, the paint brush, open the laptop, hit record, dust off the potters wheel, dive in, share and celebrate. We will all experience and see more of Him through each others 'new songs', others will come to know Him, experience Him through the 'new songs' of His people.

This isn't for the one or two on a stage, the owner of the gallery, the bestselling author. This is for each one of His children to awaken the wonder in and impact humanity for years to come. In the words of Ray Hughes:

'Marry beauty to truth and awaken the wonder.'

Break off the box, forget current culture, the 3 minute song, the verse, chorus, bridge pattern. Heaven isn't concerned with what's in, what's popular, what's accepted. He is looking for those who will humble themselves, submit to Him, follow His lead and define culture for His Kingdom sake. We weren't made to fit the culture the world sets, we were made to shift culture for Him, all for His glory, to see heaven on earth.

The flow of heavens creativity is of unfathomable vastness, diversity, colour. It's time things looked different and you have an invitation.

Psalm 40:1-3

I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. 2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. 3 He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord.

Psalm 40:1-3 TPT

I waited and waited and waited some more, patiently, knowing God would come through for me. Then, at last, he bent down and listened to my cry. 2 He stooped down to lift me out of danger from the desolate pit I was in, out of the muddy mess I had fallen into. Now he’s lifted me up into a firm, secure place and steadied me while I walk along his ascending path. 3 A new song for a new day rises up in me every time I think about how he breaks through for me! Ecstatic praise pours out of my mouth until everyone hears how God has set me free. Many will see his miracles; they’ll stand in awe of God and fall in love with him!
